Riders and motorcycles in Ksenia artworks
Ksenia is a Russian artist with more than 10 years of experience. She is not a biker ( not yet 😉), but her artworks are mostruoso dedicated to motorcycles.
The subject of motorcycles appeared in her artworks spontaneously during a "road sketches" in Madrid. Later on, this subject became THE subjects of her paintings explored in different ways including old-school customs and sports models.
In her composition, with the help of color and texture, she wants to express the atmosphere of the city and the character of each motorcycle.
Recently she explores also the racing as a facinating mix of energy, speed & riders’ technique.
Ksenia uses the traditional oil on canvass technique combined with brushes of different sizes and palette knifes to ensure a volumetric and more realistic effect. When the paint flows across the canvas she do not remove it, leaving it untouched and alive.
