The story begins one night in Reims during summer season, it's hot and we enter a pub next to the cathedral: a cheerful atmosphere and a motorcycle at the entrance ... a Monet Goyon from the '50s, this is our place! Paul, the owner of the place, welcomed us ( he must have realized from our faces that we are Italians). He worked a coule of years in Italy for a company and speaks our language very well: it was the perfect chance to have a chat and we found out we have a lot of things in common! Paul had many bikes in his life, drove them, shared joys and sorrows with them but also many many curves. The route that he told us and that we will share here you Bikers CANNOT MISS it!

Meeting point at Paul's place in Reims to start! The first destination is Rocroi - via Rethel- ( N51 + N51 + D985 + D978 ), where we stopped for the first beer of the day at the hotel Du Commerce, set in the main square. Here the choice is really hard: on the walls in fact dozens of beers from around the world ... After this quick refreshing stops we are ready to start: following Revin on D1 then in order Deville, Monthermé, Thilay along the D31, Bohan, Menbre, Vresse, Rochehaut and from there along the N810 till Bouillon. The road along the river is basically made up of curves only....have fun!!

You are in Belgium and you did not even noticed because the itinerary has kidnapped: bend after bend, along the river crossing so many little villages and woods....Be careful only on a short stretch in the woods before arriving at the destination where the road has some irregularities and where the asphalt is often wet and slippery, the rest of the journey is a hoot! It's  lunchtime, in the main street of Bouillon that runs along the river you will definitely find a dish for you ... .We chose the Porchetta accompanied by an excellent blonde Belgian " Corne du Bois des Pendus ", a beer with an extraordinary history dates back to 1600 !!! Time to go back to France down to Sedan, a medieval city for the last stop before returning to Reims to thank Paul for the tips ;) !!!
